A brief shaped around family life
Sol found the Five Star team while researching builders online. At the first meeting, he explained how he wanted the homes to look and how his family intended to use them.
Entertaining and hosting extended family were central to the brief, making generous shared spaces and outdoor cooking facilities important design decisions.
Maximising the site without losing detail
The project produced two homes, each with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and open living space. Sol also emphasised that attention to detail was especially important to his household.
He said the team guided him on what should and should not be included, helping turn a broad goal of maximising the property into practical choices.
A six-month delivery that surprised the client
When told the duplex could be completed in six months, Sol initially found the timeframe difficult to believe. At handover, he said the family was impressed by the workmanship and the result.
He recommended the team to people with little building experience and indicated that future projects with Five Star were likely.
